Come join our team at The Malcolm Hotel! We are currently looking for an Overnight House Person to work as part of the Housekeeping team in our hotel and conference centre. 

The Overnight House Person is responsible for maintaining the cleaning standards of the common areas, restaurant, and banquet rooms within the hotel.

Reporting:

The Overnight Houseperson reports directly to the Housekeeping Manager.

:Duties: 

The duties of this job include, but are not limited to: 

• Cleaning all entrances and public areas of the hotel
• Washing floors, cleaning washrooms and windows
• Vacuuming and dusting public areas
• Assisting in cleaning rooms when required
• Emptying garbage and removing recyclable items
• Stocking and sorting supplies, picking up soiled lined and delivering it to the laundry room
• Moving furniture and boxes, unpacking deliveries
• Assisting in maintaining walkways and paths around the hotel throughout all types of weather
• Opening the pool area

Full-time employees qualify for group health benefits after 6 months of continuous employment.

Salary: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
